Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at 24hrbuddelivery@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

What is high THCa

THCa is found in raw cannabis.

  • When heated (through smoking, vaping, or cooking), THCa decarboxylates (changes chemically) into THC, the compound responsible for the classic cannabis “high.”

  • In its raw form, THCa does not produce intoxication.

  • High THCa flower:

    • Refers to buds bred and cultivated to have very high levels of THCa (often 20–30% or more).

    • It looks, smells, and tastes like traditional cannabis because it essentially is cannabis, but it is sold as “hemp” if it contains less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC (by dry weight), which makes it federally legal in the U.S. under the 2018 Farm Bill.

  • Why people buy it:

    • Legal access: In states without recreational cannabis laws, high-THCa hemp flower provides a legal alternative.

    • Wellness uses: Some consume raw THCa (juicing or capsules) for potential anti-inflammatory, neuroprotective, and anti-nausea properties without the high.

How is a dispensary legal in Texas? In 2018 Congress passed H.R. 5485, making hemp legal for both farming and personal use. As a close cousin of marijuana, hemp contains many identical cannabinoids which are now 100% legal for both possession and consumption, medically or recreationally.
